COUNTDOWN TO SPARKS INTO FIRE
Saturday, 28 November 2026
In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxHeilbronn, where x = independently organized TED event.
At our TEDxHeilbronn event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. Speakers never pay to join a TEDx event. Consideration, speaker coaching and event participation along with attendance are all provided free of charge. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
TEDxHeilbronn is run by students and volunteers of the Ignite Ideas initiative on the Bildungscampus Heilbronn.

FOURTH EDITION
Sparks
into Fire
Every global shift starts somewhere small enough to be overlooked. Sparks into Fire is about the ideas that catch here, in a mid-sized German city with an outsized appetite for the future.
We are looking for the researcher three years ahead of the headline, the founder who fixed something on their street, the teacher rewriting a classroom. Twelve talks. One stage. One day that leaves Heilbronn louder than it found it.
THE LAST EDITION IN NUMBERS
LINEUP 2026
Twelve people, one idea each.
Curation for Sparks into Fire is open. Speakers are announced in waves from spring 2026, and we read every application ourselves.
